As you probably know, YouTube is the most popular and user-friendly video sharing site on the Net. I have found it a Godsend for music videos, in particular. Gone are the days of flicking through MTV and the like, in the hope of finding something I really want to watch.

With YouTube, I can be my very own VJ or disc jockey. Not only have I dug up many old favorites I hadn’t seen or heard in years, but I’ve also discovered many new and exciting artists, some not even signed to a record company. There really is a wealth of talent out there and it’s all just a few clicks away.

What I haven’t been able to do is download and save my favorite YouTube clips. That was until I found VideoPiggy. Using this great little program, I can download, save, burn videos onto DVD and even transfer music files onto my MP3 player.

If you’re as big a fan of YouTube as I am, I guarantee you’ll love this simple, but highly versatile software. Now that I’ve tried it, I can’t imagine life without it.
